The Company:

We are working with a large independent insurance broker who are looking to bring on motivated and ambitious commercial insurance professional for a new role based in Bristol.

This business has continued to develop and grow through organic and acquisition and had varied success across the company.

As exciting role has become available for a capable commercial insurance professional to join the account handler team.

The Role:

You will be an experienced insurance professional with account handler / commercial experience and who can hit the ground running with a range of commercial products as well ideally being proficient in Acturis.

You will be supporting an Account Executive, building strong relationships with clients, handling initial enquiries and broking on the open market (dealing with underwriters) or Acturis E-Trade broking in order to source competitive quotations.

You will focus on processing new business and servicing existing relationships looking at cross selling and up selling opportunities.

This business is keen to continue to grow and promote and up skill their staff, meaning lots of career advancement opporutnies will be available.

The Required Skills:

Ideally you will have commercial Insurance handling experience (willing to consider SME - Corporate level experience)

Experience undertaking market exercises for your clients to source competitive quotes

Experience with Acturis or E-trade products is desirable

Good communicator and report builder

Good negotiation and time management skills

Cert CII is preferable but not essential
