Purpose of the Role


The PPC and SEO Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing PPC campaigns and SEO strategies to drive traffic and sales to sites across the UK.

She/he will support the brand and local marketing initiatives, rolling out national campaigns and activations whilst following PPC and SEO best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform PPC campaign strategies and optimize ad copy.
  • Monitor and analyse PPC campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization and budget allocation.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis and optimize content for relevant keywords.
  • Monitor performance metrics, and optimize campaigns based on performance.
  • Stay up to date with PPC and SEO trends and best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collecting data to analyse how campaigns are performing, constantly evolving the groups best practice to get the best possible return from our investment, using a variety of metrics.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, monitor performance and produce postcampaign reports capable of demonstrating direct links to sales and other business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of current SEO practices, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools
  • Maintain strong relationships with teams, being their trusted PPC and search advisor.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in SEO and PPC campaign execution and management in an agency or digital marketing environment (2+ years).
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Uptodate understanding of algorithm changes, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using analytics and tracking tools, such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, or similar platforms, to measure and report campaign performance.
  • Solid knowledge of SEM and SEO principles, and how they integrate with paid media campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, partners, campaigns, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience in execution of paid search marketing strategies and working knowledge of Google Ads is a must.
  • Experience with local SEO and Google listing performance would be beneficial.
  • Selfstarter with a high degree of initiative and a salescommercial mindset.
  • Confidence and desire to lead crossfunctional project teams and effectively communicate team recommendations to the wider marketing team, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
