Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for assisting in delivering a first-class Library service to staff and students at BPP. We are looking for friendly, self-motivated individuals with excellent IT and client care skills.

The ability to work flexibly and contribute to team objectives by assisting others and collaborating on tasks and projects is essential.


What you'll be doing


In this role, you will be responsible for responding to student queries through various channels, developing a comprehensive understanding of other BPP Group departments to refer complex issues appropriately and ensuring the library services effectively meet user needs.

This includes maintaining a conducive learning environment, reporting maintenance faults, and organising facilities.


Additionally, you will contribute to creating and updating library user guides, collaborate on resource development, actively promote library services to staff and students, and handle book management tasks with safety in mind.

Flexibility in working hours and engagement in various administrative tasks for optimal customer service are essential aspects of this position.

What we're looking for

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Excellent levels of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office Programmes (Word, Excel Outlook),
  • Library Management Systems and Virtual Learning Environments.
  • Experience of working in a library, student services or customer service environment.
  • Experience in using online platforms to review and respond to customer queries.
  • A positive approach to customer service and the student experience.
