Macildowie are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a well-established and growing company based in the Rugby area; who are recruiting for a Senior Ledger Clerk on a Permanent basis.

In this office-based role you will be part of a team of two withinthe Purchase Ledger department, and report to the Finance Manager.

There is no better time to join this company as there are aspirations to continue growing and eventually double in size in the not-too-distant future.


Responsibilities:


  • Sending out request approvals for nonPO invoices
  • Chasing VAT invoices for any Proforma's paid
  • Check the weekly payment run to ensure all invoices are paid accurately and in line with the relevant terms
  • Loading and coding supplier invoices into the financial system
  • Create GRN for PO invoices and match to the order on the system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Update and maintain supplier account information (credit limits etc.)
  • Maintain Accounts Payable and info mailboxes
  • Subcontract payment run check paperwork and raise any issues with the wider team
  • Cashbook payments ensure log is updated and accurate
  • Assist with yearend audit

Requirements:


  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great numerical skills
  • Advantageous if you have experience on the COINS system (advantageous)
  • At least one years' experience in a Purchase Ledger or similar role
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
  • Enthusiastic, practical individual
  • Willingness to be office based (5 days per week)
