Description

Very well regarding AA rated banking organisation is seeking a Manager / Team Lead for their core Treasury settlements function.

Leading a team of 4, you will manage the day to day booking, settlement and reporting of all deals generated by the Treasuryfront office includes Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Securities and Derivatives [products.

You will be part of ongoing bank projects and be someone to drive change and new initiatives where identified. Experience with any of the following systems an advantage

  • Equation, Aqua Global, Devon, Euroclear, UnaVista,

Duties

  • Control of accurate cash positions for Dealers
  • Ensure all Treasury deals are accurately recorded in the bank's systems
  • Ensure all payments are correctly dispatched within established deadlines
  • Oversight of daily / adhoc regulatory reporting
  • Oversight of daily Devon system activities including closing process
  • Reconcile end of day cash and FX positions against Equation and dealer's records
  • Provide Management statistics and reporting as required
  • Emir and MiFIR Reporting of FX trades, IRS, Bonds and Repos
  • Supervision, training and appraisal of staff
  • Maintenance and review of Treasury Operations SOP manuals
  • Disaster recovery planning and testing
  • To identify areas for improvement relating to staff, systems and procedures
  • Management of vendor relationships
  • Ad hoc tasks requested by Senior Manager, Operations.

Qualification & Experience

  • Management, leadership or supervisory experience in Treasury settlements
  • Good knowledge of Treasury products including Securities, Derivatives, FX/MM
  • Knowledge of accounting and process flow of treasury products
