Protocol Education are seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for Full Time and Part Time roles across SEND schools in Sheffield.

The Role:

Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a range of SEND schools providing support for students with additional needs in order to ensure that they're getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom.

Initially you may work on a day-to-day basis, however there is often the option for a school to offer you a long-term position should they require.


The schools:

Like previously mentioned, you will work with multiple SEND schools across the South Yorkshire region with a range of different needs (ASC, PMLD, SEMH, SLD to mention a few) while following the main aims and ethos' of the schools.

No matter which school you attend, you will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.


You must be adaptable, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.

Although not essential, extra qualifications in training in Moving and Handling and/or Team Teach are highly desired.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
