Job Advert_ Do you have a background in Media Planning? Can you demonstrate your understanding of all media channels including TV, Radio, digital, social, print, OOH, and search? Can you review and analyse metrics to leverage insights from data to improve media effectiveness? Can you demonstrate your understanding of digital, social and emerging platforms?_
As a Media Planner this role supports the development and implementation of communications planning across Asda, George and Asda Media partnerships using our media budget effectively across all communications channels to drive footfall, traffic, growth and sales.
This is a fixed term role
As well as leading the day to day communications planning for Asda, Geoge & Asda Media Partnership you will also:
- Build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with Creative and Proposition leads to ensure communications plans are reflective of the campaign strategies
- Deliver integrated comms plans across paid, owned and earned channels
- Support in the delivery and deployment of innovative and targeted media communications planning
- Work with media/creative agency partners to ensure communication plans land effectively and in a timely manner
- Working cross functionally and with agency partners to build customer journeys and ecosystems for campaigns
- Review and check relevant communication plans ensuring 100% accuracy
- Create measurable campaign KPI's, helping to enhance media effectiveness
- Showcase an understanding of digital, social and emerging platforms and technologies
- Monitoring and delivering key ASDA and George competitor reports, staying current of industry trends and analysing benefits of incorporating new media
This role has commercial and finance responsibilities and will involve the day to day management of the Asda and George Media budgets and financial documents, as well as owning and delivering accurate financial forecasts at mid month and month end.
About You
As well as having strong numerical and analytical skills, we're looking for someone who has:
- Media experience/digital expertise (above the line and digital)
- Digital certifications preferable (AdWords certified for example)
- Experience working client side or within an agency
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with key stakeholders as this role works with a range of managers, directors and external agency and creaive partners
