Butler Rose has been appointed to recruit a Management Accountant on behalf of a leading independently owned business headquartered in South Petherton.


This is a fantastic opportunity and as the Accountant you will vital in supporting the continued success and growth of the company and development of finance systems.


In this role you will report directly into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for all day-to-day activities within the Finance department, including management Accounts, VAT returns and maintain purchase ledger and accounts payable.

Responsibilities include;

  • Monthly management accounts, journals, reconciling balance sheet and trial balance reports.
  • Year end forecasts and preparing for the annual audit.
  • Overseeing VAT returns,
  • Managing purchase ledger and accounts payable
  • Managing sales ledger and accounts receivable
  • Managing debt management processes and Management of nominal ledgers
  • Driving efficiency and continuous improvement of processes
