We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our team in London.

Brady is a leading provider of trading, risk and logistics management software solutions to global energy markets.

For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with mission critical trading software enabling them to trade power and gas, renewables, metals and agricultural commodities.

With the massive expansion in the use of renewable energy sources, electric vehicles and battery production, the energy and power markets are currently undergoing significant disruption.

The Senior Consultant role is a key contributor to the implementation of the Brady Risk solutions for our growing global customer base.

Working as part of a project team to design and implement our solutions enabling our customers to realise the true value of our products.

You will be an effective communicator who is comfortable discussing issues / ideas within the business and on site with clients.

You are a motivated consultant whose drive is continuous improvement and a focus on helping the team deliver quality projects.

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaise with the clients to analyse/determine and document their business and technical requirements for a project implementation
• Write and update design specification for business and technical requirements
• Analyse, resolve/escalate problems found during the implementation
• Discuss and advise clients to effectively solve requirements using Brady Risk products
• Together with the Project Manager collaborate with the project team and build relationships with our customers
• Document problem resolution for future reference by other Consultants, e.g., useful notes, updated JIRA tickets
• Document technical suggestions and solutions as agreed with clients Provide information, advice, guidance, and updates throughout the project lifecycle to assist management in eliminating risks and increasing the likelihood of project success

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly competent in technical tools such as SQL,scripting, MS Excel
• Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
• Clarity in written and verbal communicator in client facing roles
• Ability to work in both colocated and distributed teams
• Teamwork ability to collaborate positively with team members based locally and remotely

Knowledge:

• Experience in the Energy or Commodity Trading and Risk Management sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience building interfaces
• Highly competent in technical tools such as MS SQL and PowerBI
• Experience with source control systems such as GitHub, Azure DevOps
