Joiner Job Description

CSCS card needed

Self employed position

Building a hoarding on a shop front

Will need own tools

Initially a week but will be further works later in the project

Please get in touch ASAP

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Measure and cut materials to the required specifications
Install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures
Lay tiles and flooring
Fabricate and install metal stud framing
Repair or restore damaged structures or furniture
Assemble furniture or other items as required
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
Experience with tile laying, metal stud framing, heavy lifting, cabinet installation, fabrication, remodeling, schematics, assembly, and restoration.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for extended periods of time
