Description

With specialists focused on Information Technology, Estates Development, Estates Operations, and University-wide Facilities, the Directorate of Technology, Estates and Facilities collaborates to deliver solutions across both the physical and digital landscapes.


Our primary goal is to provide services and facilities that meet the needs both of the University and the broader community, as well as support the University's strategic objectives and commitment to public good by creating a stimulating learning, living and working environment.


Within DTEF, the Timetabling & Room Bookings Team oversees the scheduling of the University's curriculum for both students and academics and room bookings for University meetings, events etc.


Role:


You will provide administrative support to the Timetabling and Room Booking team; this is an excellent opportunity to work with colleagues across the organisation.

It's an opportunity to undertake a broad range of administrative tasks. A flexible approach and excellent prioritisation skills will help you succeed in this role.

We also use a number of systems, so good IT literacy and a willingness to learn new ways of working are important.


Above all, you must be capable of providing excellent customer service and you must demonstrate a friendly, willing and supportive manner.


Skills, Experience & Qualification needed:


  • Level 2 qualification (Qualifications at this level include five GCSEs at grade A*C/ grade 49. Please view the full list). We also welcome applicants with equivalent nonuk qualifications or equivalent professional experience
  • Accurately record and report information/data
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
  • Assist others to organise activities
  • Evidence of upholding our behaviours as specified in the job description.
