Eden Northrop have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal or Senior Flood Risk Modeller to join our client on a permanent basis.

You will be joining an excellent multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, based out of their thriving Bristol office


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review technical reports
• Build and run hydraulic models using TUFLOW and Flood Modeller Pro
• Review flood risk assessments
• Advise and mentor staff regarding the use of flood modelling software
• Prepare fee proposals, bids and tenders
• Manage a team of engineers and liaise with stakeholders
• Resource and sign off timesheets
• Carry out business development

The position would suit someone with:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering, hydrology, geography or related field
• Experience in flood risk management or related field as a flood risk consultant/engineer/modeller
• Experience with 1D/2D hydraulic modelling using TUFLOW and Flood Modeller Pro
• Experience with GIS and MS Office
• Knowledge of hydrological analysis using Flood Estimation Handbook techniques, using packages such as WINFAP and ReFH2
