ScopeTo be successful as a PMO, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch PMO should be well organized and able to work under pressure. Projects are primarily on Premise and Cloud data integration implementations which vary in size and complexity.
The PMO keeps knowledge and information flowing seamlessly.
To succeed you need both project delivery know-how and first-hand knowledge of the tasks they assign to others to keep the project moving forward.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesThese are the tasks you undertake on a regular basis which make up your job role in order to deliver the objectives:
- Collaborating with Professional Services colleagues and Solutionpath customers to define, prioritize, and develop projects
- Planning project management and customer account plans & resolution activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
- Analysing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives
- Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards
- Champion and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Draft new and improving existing Service Delivery policies and processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
- Coordinate, deliver and document 30, 60, 90 and Quarterly Business Reviews & ongoing communication regarding client engagement
- Review Feedback from customers and review calls
- Assist with the IMS System (Nonconformities and OFIs) for the Service Desk
- Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification
- Maintaining SP systems relating to the above: JIRA, ADO, Salesforce
Essential
- 1+ Years' PMO experience ideally with data analytical projects or similar technical services/software related projects
- Demonstrated capability for analytical thinking, problemsolving, assertiveness, decision making, and sound judgment
- Anticipate problems with a solutionfocused approach to resolution
- Proven excellence as a written and verbal communicator
- Proven ability to build highly effective relationships with stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner
- Commercial aptitude and awareness
- Proficient in MS Office 365 i.e. Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Qualified to undergraduate degree level (computer science or a related field)
- Experience delivering and managing projects in the higher education sector
- Project management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA or similar)
- ITIL Knowledge / Experience
- Knowledge of Project Management processes strategies and methodologies (Agile/PMP)
- Critical thinking skills
- Budgeting skills

- Xero, HiBob HR, O365 (Teams/SharePoint/MS Project), SalesForce, Visio, JIRA
