About us:


The School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, based within the University of Reading, is looking to appoint a Marketing Coordinator.


The role:


Supporting the Schools Marketing, Communications and Media Manager you will assist with a range of marketing and events activities that raise the profile of the School and support student recruitment.


You will play a fundamental part in supporting all aspects of our marketing activities, including: publicity and events, the development of our internal and external facing profile, content generation for/and the delivery of materials across numerous digital and traditional platforms, while also contributing to the development of our evolving marketing strategy.


We are looking for someone with a passion for marketing and communications who has:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by your accomplishments to date
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities to enable you to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Good time management and organisational skills to assist in the day to day activities and event management
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure as priorities evolve
  • Works well in a team, and autonomously
  • Good administrative and IT skills and is keen to engage with new tools
  • Work experience in a marketing role
  • Eagerness to learn on the job
This role is ideally suited to those who have studied marketing, wishing to pursue a career in Marketing Communications.
