Description
There are many people involved in the housebuilding process all working together to ensure the continued success of Harron Homes.
Key Purpose of the Role
A multi-skilled tradespersonresponsible for the day to day remediation of issues in customers' homes.
Undertake planned and reactive maintenance in occupied properties to the highest standard, including but not limited to carpentry, dry lining and decorating.
To ensure the correct resources are available to undertake work in occupied homes, on the appointed date and to resolve all issues in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Working in collaboration with the Customer Service Team, reporting any remediations and reoccurring issues promptly.
- Source materials efficiently and with the agreement of the Customer Service Team
- Maintain vehicles and materials stock to ensure a reliable and prompt service.
- Implement any inspections of issues as required.
- Be proactive to reduce costs and improve standards.
- Account for expenses and produce records.
- Adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policies and Site Regulations.
- As a frontline operative maintain excellent relationships with customers and staff.
Person Specification:
Customer Service Operative
Qualifications
Qualified City & Guilds carpenter or other relevant trade OR Qualified by experience.
Experience
Customer Service / Maintenance.
Key knowledge and skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Demonstrate a good understanding of NHBC/LABC standards.
Knowledge of building standards and policies.
Multi trades experience (desirable).
Ability to work on own initiative.
Personal attributes
Excellent communicator and personable.
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
