The Role of the Head of Account Management:

  • The Head of Account Management will lead the account management function, as well as hold a portfolio of a number of large strategic NHS accounts.
  • They will build key relationships at senior and board level, working with trusts and Integrated Care Boards and Systems across London and beyond to promote the work and services of our client in order to demonstrate the value that we can deliver for theirNHS members.
  • The post holder will develop and lead on implementing a customer engagement strategy with a vision set by the Executive Customer Director, as well as the wider executive team and Steering Board.
  • Responsible for a team of Account Managers who engage with the Trusts

Benefits of the Head of Account Management:
£63,541 salary plus business travel expenses, pension, 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays


The Ideal Person for the Head of Account Management:

  • You will have knowledge of the NHS or Local Authority procurement arena either from working within this function or acting as a supplier or other related commercial position.
  • Leadership skills and experience in leading a team.
  • Extensive and indepth demonstrable experience in business development and account management at a senior level within the NHS or other large complex organisation.
  • Experience of budget and project planning and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Significant experience of writing reports, ideally sales proposals, with the ability to provide clear unambiguous answers to questions.
  • Significant experience in customer engagement strategies.
  • Significant public and or private sector experience in business development.
  • Outstanding customer management skills especially communication, influencing and relationship building.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, including numeracy.
  • Financial and budgetary management experience.
