Dentique is a brand new, bespoke, fully private dental Practice, providing high quality, state-of-the-art dentistry, with world class customer service and patient journey.
The patient profile will be a combination of routine dental care under Practice Plan, and referred services for advanced dentistry, including implants and advanced restorative care, endodontics, and orthodontics.
Operating from a modern, completely new facility in the quaint North Worcestershire village of Belbroughton, the Practice is equipped with all new equipment and fully prepared for the exciting digital future of modern dentistry, with intra-oral camera, intra-oral scanner and CBCT, as well as brand new surgeries equipped to a high specification.
The Practice philosophy is patient-centric with an emphasis on patient education and information, to support patients in achieving and maintaining oral health.
We have availability for an excellent, experienced Hygienist/Therapist.
The role will involve:
- Obtain and maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' medical history, social history, oral health, treatments provided, and any other relevant information.
- Establishing oral health measures with recording of plaque & bleeding scores and PPD charting, and monitoring of patient's oral hygiene regime
- Education and motivation of patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and provide tailored recommendations for achieving and maintaining optimal oral health.
- Effective PMPR practices in accordance with dentist's prescription, using LA where necessary.
- Provide patient education on diet, nutrition, and other health factors that impact dental health and cosmetic outcomes, including smoking and alcohol advice.
- Liaise and collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and exceptional service delivery.
- Undertaking the additional duties of a Therapist, as per GDC scope of Practice
- Observing the Principal in surgery to learn about private dentistry techniques, according to needs and opportunities
- Have a commitment to develop and improve your Private dentistry treatment skills for the further improvement of patient care
