Technical Designer - Road Steel Signs & Digital Screens

Salary:

Hunter Mason's client is looking for an experienced technical designer, who ideally has experience in metal signage as well as digital screens and the structural steel framework that goes with it.

This role will be within the existing design team and working on traditional and digital signage. Bespoke Wayfinding, Large Totems, Digital Wayfinding, OOH Screens etc.

are all manufactured within the client's own factory and as such you would be working closely with the fabrication team.

Responsibilities:

Produce concept designs for review and approval.
Produce detailed 3D Drawings for review by project managers, clients, and production.
Development of fabrication drawings of small and large format structures and sheet metal.
Attend Site Surveys with PMs to gather information prior to modelling.
SolidWorks and Adobe Creative suite required (Illustrator and Photoshop)

Essential attributes:

Experience in Signage and Digital Screen preferred.
Sheet metal and Work metal experience preferred.
Structural steel experience preferred.
Work well in a team
Good communicator and not afraid to share issues upline to directors to resolve.
Selfmotivated and good motivator of people
Flexible to changes in issues that arise
