Our client, a small engineering company based in Thame, requires an experienced CNC Machinist to produce a variety of parts from drawings or CAD.

Experience is absolutely critical in milling or turning and a willingness to adapt to other disciplines.

What's the job?
Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes and/or Mills
Reading and interpreting from engineering drawings to enable programming, setting and manufacture to achieve a right first-time product.
Experience with Hurco/Colchester, Doosan/Fanuc systems preferred but not essential.
Ability to work by self to achieve exceptional high standards and deadlines.
Ability and willingness to support and train others.
To continuously improve and provide time / cost saving ideas to supervisor wherever possible.

Who can apply?
Time served apprenticeship would be preferred but not entirely necessary.
Preferably a minimum of 5 years programming and operating CNC machines.
Experience with Hurco/Colchester, Doosan/Fanuc systems preferred but not essential.
Good written and communicational skills are essential.
Reliable, loyal, friendly and approachable.
