Bookkeeper

Location:Near Ware, Herts

Salary:£25,000 - £32,000 per annum

Contract:Permanent, Full-Time, Monday
  • Friday, 8am
  • 4:30pm (some flexibility)

Bookkeeper:


  • Do you have a strong background working in accountancy?
  • Maybe you've worked within the construction industry previously and are familiar with CIS Returns?
  • Are you familiar dealing with Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Payable, VAT/Tax returns and Bookkeeping?
  • Does working for a highly established and growing family business appeal to you?

Job Role:


Our client is a highly established, family run business who are recruiting for someone to look after all the bookkeeping for the company.


There will also be a requirement for you to work in all aspects of accountancy and finance, as well as thrive within a small accounts/finance team.


You'll work closely with the Directors and key stake holders of the business, providing support and advice to process improvements and the maximisation of profitability.


Job Duties:

On a day-to-day basis you would be required to complete the following,

  • Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
  • Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable
  • Credit Control
  • Invoicing and Applications for payment
  • Companies (private) Annual Accounts and corporation
  • VAT and TAX returns
  • CIS returns
  • Payroll
  • Bookkeeping Services
