Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing insurance brokerage based in Sheffield.

Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to bring in an Account Handler to be part of their dedicated SME team.

They are looking for an SME Account Handler to join their established team to take up the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.

Main duties will include:

Building strong relationships with clients and understanding insurance needs
Dealing with premiums ranging from £300 and exceeding £15,000
Dealing with renewals and proactively ensuring a high retention level
Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and building strong relationships
Broking risks for new business and renewals
Using a selection of online insurer portals to place new business and renewals
Taking notification of any claims and passing to the relevant colleague
Working closely with the Commercial Broking team
Using Acturis on a daily basis

This is a great opportunity for someone that has a minimum of 12 months experience that is looking to develop further and be part of a growing business with exciting plans for the future.

A basic salary up to c£28k and full support towards CII qualificationsis on offer, including bonus incentives for achieving Cert and Diploma levels.
