Job Scope:

We are looking for a Care and Support Worker to join our Retirement Living Service. This role is based on a rota basis which may include evening and weekend shifts. It is a pivotal position to help ensure our residents live a meaningful life and feel involvedwithin their community.

The working shifts are on Monday, Thursday & Fridays from 1pm until 9pm (24 hours per week).


Responsibilities:


  • Assist residents with personal care, preparing meals and domestic tasks.
  • Implement and monitor care & support plans to meet the individual needs of a diverse group of Tenants.
  • Contribute to building community spirit within the resource through participating, encouraging, enabling and facilitating social events that meet the needs of diverse tenants.

If you have:


  • NVQ level 2 in Health and social Care (Desirable, not essential)
  • Previous Experience within a Care or Health setting
  • Excellent communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings)
