Description

Finance Assistant £22,000 per annum
The Role

As the Finance Assistant, you will be part of a small team that is primarily responsible for the processing and checking of daily income from the on-site venues.

You will assist with the accounting transactions within membership and events teams; and provideother general support to the Finance team.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will assist with daily finance admin duties, including; petty cash accounting, cash book and bank processing, bank reconciliations, credit card provider reconciliations and general support of the purchaseledger function.

This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in Finance, as this position comes with full study support for accountancy qualifications.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7.

The Person
We are looking for individuals who are excited about starting a career within Finance and Accountancy.

You will be looking to learn and develop your skills, work as part of a professional team and actively participate in your studies.

You will possess strong administration skills, be efficient, organised and numerical in your approach along with a working knowledge of Excel.

Knowledge of Sage or a similar system, is desirable.
