We are currently recruiting for one of the country's fast growing and most well respected maintenance and construction companies.


Working in all of the Portsmouth City Country property portfolio including, social housing, schools, public conveniences, offices, Heritage and Museums.


You will be responsible for the following:

  • A wide variety of carpentry and plumbing repairs in occupied homes, building and empty properties. The work will include; fitting of various types of doors, first and second fixing, kitchen installations, repairing minor leaks, replacing sanitary wear, ceramic wall tiling, vinyl floor tiling and non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given)
  • To ensure the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards.
  • Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimizing nonproductive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered.
  • Respond swiftly to all emergency situations and resolve them efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of works undertaken with photographic evidence as necessary.
  • Be willing to work out of hours, if required, to the requirements of the client and customer.

Role Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in carpentry/plumbing or equivalent
  • Full current driving licence
  • A DBS check is required before commencement of the role
