The eHospital training team is responsible for ensuring that all staff at our hospitals' (Addenbrooke's and the Rosie) receive appropriate training and support in the use of our electronic patient record held on Epic.


We are looking to appoint a well organised individual to help provide a professional, efficient and high quality experience to those wishing to book onto Epic training.


The ability to prioritise effectively and to remain calm and focused under pressure is important as the position can be demanding.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a priority as you are responsible for the efficient and accurate booking of new and existing staff within the hospital onto relevant training.

Experience in using Learning Management Systems or DOT would be of benefit but training will be provided.

The current work pattern will be working Monday-Friday.

Main duties of the job


You will support in the planning and organisation of training sessions provided by the eHospital Training team to include booking of rooms and trainers, registering of delegates and after session follow-ups.


You will establish and maintain effective communication channels with all relevant parties in order to be able to communicate complex information to a range of individuals where there may be barriers to understanding.


You will present a professional, friendly and courteous manner to all contacts, both internal and external to help facilitate a good communication network.


Utilise skills in verbal and written communication to effectively collate, present and distribute information as required within stated timeframes using a range of Microsoft office package.

Qualifications:

Essential criteria

Educated to secondary school level or equivalent.
Desirable criteria

  • I.T packages training course/qualification.
Experience

Essential criteria

Significant administrative/secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.

Previous experience of taking minutes of meetings and transcribing notes accurately and efficiently.

Demonstrable experience in dealing with difficult situations.

  • Experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of working in healthcare environment.
Knowledge

Essential criteria

Understanding of Confidentiality and the Data Protection Act.

Intermediate knowledge and experience of using IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

  • Understanding of Customer Service.
Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and DOT
