As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Health and safety Officer to be based in North of the M62 and Scotland.

About the Role:

Health and safety training for new and existing stores;
Store visits to monitor compliance, audits;
Store visits to support where needed, particularly in advance of EHO or Fire inspections;
New store set up to include training, risk assessments and support for the project manager;
Health and safety training in existing stores;
Liaise with Cloud and CDS ensure adherence to scheduled inspections/examinations by external parties (sprinklers/fire alarms) and internal inspections (emergency lighting);
Assist in developing policies, procedures and risk assessments.
Monitor statutory changes and changes in best practice, and in liaison with other departments implement best practice at The Range.

Knowledge and Skills:

The ability to communicate effectively with managers and staff within stores, and Senior Managers.
The ability and confidence to train large groups (70+).
To comply with all Legal & Company Health & Safety regulations.
To set high personal standards and set an example to others.
The ability to read and interpret statutory documents and produce relevant policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Have previous experience in a health and safety role.

Position:
Permanent, Full-time

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 08:45am - 17:30pm.
