Description
Our client is a hugely successful independent TV production company, producing much loved comedy and light entertainment shows.
It's a vibrant, friendly, and hardworking environment, this role is pivotal to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
You will be a main point of contact for external enquiries for the Company and the go-to person for facilities support for the team.
You will enjoy organising & supervising all the administrative activities that underpin the projects and productions, ensuring continued efficiency and operational effectivenessRoles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and constantly seek to improve office routines and systems
- Be the first line support for IT issues and work with the IT Consultant to provide solutions and ongoing systems support to the business, spotting, and flagging issues where appropriate
- Supervision of the Office Runners and ensuring they are executing their roles efficiently and proactively
- Work with the Head of Production on delivering adequate seating and IT equipment in time to meet production schedule needs
- Space planning and coordination of desk moves as and when required for our production teams
- Office equipment maintenance and procurement
- Delivery of health and safety requirements under the direction of the Head of Production including fire assessments, training and first aid
- Work with the Senior Management PA in coordinating companywide events
- Work with the Finance team ensuring invoices and subscriptions within your remit are both correct and settled promptly
Person Specification:
- At least 2 years in a similar role within a busy office environment
- Excellent administrative skills
- Forward thinking, well organised, able to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
- Computer literate /IT skills
- MS Outlook, Word, Excel
High attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple demands: - Effective communication skills; able to delegate and manage Office Runners
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
- Enthusiastic in your approach to your work and your colleagues, with the ability to interact well with people at all levels
Salary:
£28,000.00 per year
