Exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the Data Analytics Product Delivery team for Gas & Power ETRM Reporting in this global Energy company.

This is an exciting time to be joining this world-leading company as they transform themselves from a traditional Oil & Gas company into a leading name within the Renewables sector.

This includes the creation of an already highly successful new Power Tradingdesk within the Energy Trading team as well as new ventures into various innovative solutions around the supply of Renewables including wind farms, electric vehicle charging, solar panel heating and battery storage.

These innovative solutions provide opportunitiesfor exceptionally highly talented individuals to contribute to the success of this transition where you will be working with some of the best people in the industry working on new and ground-breaking initiatives utilising the very latest technology.

The Role:

The team comprises of business analysts, data engineers and developers split between London and Bangalore delivering data analytics reporting tools to the trading business.

The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for identifying and documenting business requirements and working with technical teams to determine feasible solution options.

The role is part of a team focused on the growth of Electricity generation, supply andtrading in Europe.

There is an expectation it will encompass the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle from idea and inception to assisting the support team, once the solution is live, with expert knowledge.

Key Skills and Experience:

Strong track record as a Business Analyst working in energy and commodities trading.
MUST be experienced in Front Office and Risk reporting
MUST have knowledge of European power and gas markets, data reporting solutions and ETRM systems.
Create the user stories and associated acceptance criteria in the backlog
Provide support to the Scrum Master and Tech Lead to ensure the user stories are understood
Work with the data engineering and UI/UX developers to ensure the design of the end product meets requirements
Work with the change team to define the change impacts required to embed the solution within the business
Regular engage and build trusted relationships with both Business and IT teams
