Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in our production team? The Production team at Calor Gas is excited to welcome a proactive and engaging Plant Operator to join our ranks.

As a Plant Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to ensure safe and efficient machinery operations, contributing to our production targets while upholding a safety-first culture.

What we're looking for:

As a Plant Operator, you'll be at the heart of our production processes, responsible for:_
Unloading and segregating workstation and scrap cylinders
Loading and unloading cylinder trailers and rigids
Meeting production targets set by the Shift Lead
Gathering and reporting production data for Shift Lead and Plant Supervisors
Assisting in training new starters and fostering their integration
Adhering to work instructions, risk assessments, and operational guidelines
Contributing to a safetycentric workplace by promptly reporting incidents, injuries, and hazards promptly, contributing towards are safetyfirst operation and incident free workplace

About you:

We're seeking someone who embodies the following qualities:_
Proficiency in machinery operation and troubleshooting
Keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities and reporting defects
Strong performance orientation, focused on meeting objectives
Ability to comprehend production targets and efficiencies
Agile problemsolving skills to effectively handle emerging issues
