Assystem are an Award Winning International Engineering Design Consultancy who provide innovative and cutting edge solutions. We have a number of UK based offices and a significant, loyal client base.

As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows stronger, we have a requirement for an E,C&I Designer to join the team in Blackburn.


E, C & I Designer

The Project:

CE&I Designer required to provide design services to OUs within the Remediation and Waste Management (R&WM) directorate.

These roles will involve producing drawings under guidance of a CE&I Engineer for design solutions in response to problem definitions from the OU System Engineering community


Specific Responsibilities:


  • Competent and proven draughtsman, capable of producing drawings, reports and updating databases.
  • Previous experience in the production of design packages that are suitable for manufacture and installation.
  • Familiarity and experience of working and complying with applicable Practices, standards, and engineering guides.

PROFILE

Your Background:

You will have previous experience in an E,C&I Design role preferably within the Nuclear industry.


You should be an experienced user of AutoCAD & AutoCAD Electrical with experience creating engineering designs within a project team.

Also with the completion of an Apprenticeship, Graduate Scheme or depth of relevant industrial experience.

Experience of Cimage / IcePAC / CAESAR, AVEVA


Security clearance:


Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
