Description
Our client is a prestigious US law firm - they are now looking to recruit an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join their busy and expanding IT team in London.
As part of their Desktop Operations team, you will facilitate desktop service request fulfilment, provide guidance and "how to" information, restore desktop computer and related technology services or service features to a satisfactory operational state,and further enhance the user experience.
The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is up to £46,000 + Benefits. This role is a permanent position and will be office based 5 days a week.
Responsibilities as a Desktop Support Analyst:
- Perform hardware diagnostics and execute or coordinate repairs in a timely fashion
- Provide 2nd level support for all incident escalations from 1st level support
- Plan, schedule and execute computer equipment installations, imaging, upgrades, and replacement projects
- Evaluate cost benefit analysis of products and recommend hardware and installation products for purchase
- Complete thorough documentation of incidents and requests in service management tracking system
- Responsible for physical IT asset inventory and asset management
- Coordinate audio / visual (AV) operations, including schedule, connect, and coordinate external video conferences with outside parties
- Monitor live AV meetings for connection quality and performance
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to perform occasional handson IT infrastructure hardware installation and maintenance
Requirements as a Desktop Support Analyst:
- Two or more years relevant work experience in legal or professional services environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
