Are you a registered nurse looking for a new challenge and keen to develop your skills?


Ward 4 are looking for a Charge Nurse to join a highly dedicated and friendly team committed to delivering safe, high quality, patient centred care.

You must have the ability to demonstrate leadership by providing support and guidance to the team.

As an integral part of the leadership role you will participate in quality improvement projects, audit, workforce planning and flow and capacity.


A multi disciplinary approach to Medicine is our key to success and we take great pride in delivering holistic care to our patients and their families.

The ward specialises in Adult Medicine which encompasses a variety of patient groups including diabetes, endocrinology, vascular medicine, drug and alcohol dependence, palliative care, mental health and social deprivation.


You will be involved in looking after patients not only with common illnesses, but also some rare and unusual conditions with cutting edge treatments.


As a multi disciplinary team we work closely with the physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, SALT, discharge teams, social work, drug and alcohol groups and mental health to ensure a holistic patient journey.


We offer a wide variety of ward-based training and education opportunities to ensure patients receive contemporary care and that staff are supported to develop.


You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK's NMC Register with previous Band 5 experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
