Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will be Business Partnering with non finance stakeholders, responsible for delivering immediate, current, and historic commercial information to the business, sourced from our own systems and othersources.

You will also be streamlining this process and proposing and developing new information and new sources of information for the business.

Description
The key responsibilities for the Interim Finance analyst are as follows:

  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
  • Lead regular meetings with department heads
  • Investigate operational and financial results and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct Business Case reviews for high expenditure proposals and make acceptance recommendations to management
  • Improve financial status by analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Create forecasts of future business conditions using multiple scenarios (up to 5 years ahead)

Profile
The successful Interim Finance analyst will have the following:

  • 2+ years of analytical and financial experience in a leisure, retail, or volume driven environment.
  • Experienced user of Power BI
  • Advanced knowledge of quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with executivelevel management.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills.
  • Independently manage multiple tasks, projects, and ability to prioritise.
