The Job:


  • Building and maintaining a robust Operational Risk framework and embedding into the risk culture.
  • Leading in the rollout of the Operational Risk activities, with a focus on RCSA's, risk reporting, capital adequacy assessment and the development of various management information.
  • Hands on approach to implementing the buildout of risk registers and ensuring momentum with cyclical RCSA.
  • Enable automation and workflow for Operational Risk through leveraging technology.
  • Scope out methodology for the allocation of Operational Risk capital.
  • Lead in regulatory submissions and communication of the company's risk status to external stakeholders including Sox, ICAAP, ICARA and Operational Resilience.
  • Ability to communicate and present key risks to Senior Managers and Governance Committees.
  • Manage and enhance the Risk Committee reporting to ensure sufficiency of dashboards to give a regional, thematic and entity view of Operational Risk.
  • Oversight of the Operational Risk team in the daytoday execution and management of the Operational Risk framework.

Your Experience:


  • Proven track record in delivering significant business improvements and programs of activity.
  • Exposure to front office, clients, regulators, and senior management.
  • Specialist skills in Operational Risk capital scenario planning through to implementation of Basel II framework, ICAAP, and ICARA.
  • Extensive experience working within Operational Risk.
  • Someone who is willing to create a legacy and leave an impact in a business.
