About Our Client:


Based in the South West, this client has a state of the art brewery in Wrington, Bristol and a multi-million pound distribution and bottling plant in Bridgwater, Somerset.


They have grown from a brewery to consisting of over 120 pubs, bars and inns with over 250 rooms, stretching across South West England and into the Channel Islands.


  • Achieve and maintain an excellent standard of cash forecasting & cash collection
  • Monitor Problem Accounts and Liaise with fieldbased team.
  • Where appropriate involve the AR Group Manager & Credit Control Manager.
  • Negotiate payment plans as required, manage credit issues of short and longterm nature.
  • Address account problems quickly and effectively.
  • Post & allocate all cash, BACS, and card payments daily.
  • Issue invoices
  • Escalate any accounts where payment is not made within expected time frames.
  • Copy Invoices/Credit Notes
  • Raising Direct Debits for all UK Customers
  • Monitor Customer Credit limits increase/decrease
  • Trade order management
  • Prepare debtor reports and review with AR Group Manager
  • HSBC/NAV bank reconciliation
  • Recharges & reconciliation of the Shop, Home Delivery, Suspense and Contract accounts
  • Key account management, dealing with Cloaking, stock reconciliations etc.
  • Support the "One Team" work strategy, participate in AR/CC project work.
  • Adhoc tasks such as Pricing
  • Setting up new customer accounts / running credit checks

The Successful Applicant:


  • Previous AR/credit control experience imperative (in any field)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Professional communication skills
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work positively within a team towards collective success
