One CT LAS post is available from 2nd August 2023 in the Islington Community Division. The post is normally filled by a GP trainee but is vacant from August. The post involved working in North Islington Rehabilitation and Recovery Team with Dr Joanna Curwen, Consultant Psychiatrist. The team specialises in the community care of patients with chronic psychotic illnesses. The team comprises psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, mental health nurses and support workers.

The post would be ideal for anyone interested in an 'F3' post or as way to try psychiatry for a period with a view to deciding whether to pursue it as a career.

The post involves being on the out of hours CT on-call rota (approximately 1 in 15). This element of the post is mandatory.
