Monitored and controlled from our central operations facility in Solihull, these flexible assets deliver electricity to the nationalgrid, helping to balance the UK energy system and ensure reliable power for homes and businesses.
Overview
Duties:
Post payroll journals for each payment run with primary responsibility for the reconciliation of the payroll control accounts.
Ensure the calculations for salary/wage deductions are accurate and payments to third parties (HMRC, Pensions, Unions etc) are made in a timely manner.
Ensure all Real Time Information reports are made in accordance with HMRC deadlines.
Auto enrolment pension responsibilities.
Monthly Payroll related submissions to Office of National Statistics.
Ensure all legislative compliance activities are undertaken including statutory returns and liaising with Group in relation to Income Tax and National Insurance changes across the board.
Process P60's and P11D's.
Liaise with third party tax experts regarding overseas colleagues seconded to the UK.
Employment Related Securities Returns to HMRC.
Maintain and report the Annual PAYE settlement agreement to HMRC.
Gender Pay Gap Reporting.
Support HR Reporting, Administrative activities and project-based work including gathering information for reporting purposes, taking minutes of meetings, assist with sending letters etc.
Requirements:
Thorough and robust payroll knowledge and experience of UK payroll processing, payroll taxes and HMRC requirements
Confident with computerised payroll systems and excel to undertake analysis of data
Analytically minded with attention to detail
Excellent administrative skills
Good excel skills
Personable with good communication skills
Team player
Determined and confident to challenge
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Well organised with a flexible and adaptable approach
Respectful of the need for complete confidentiality
Desirable
Experience of SAP HR/Payroll
