We have a fantastic opportunity for a first-class Administrator to join our Savings and Mortgage Administration team.

This position is based in a thriving office environment, giving you the opportunity to complete a wide variety of tasks whilst interacting with our members and other departments throughout the Society.

We are looking for an individual to consistently provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to internal Society departments and external savings and mortgage customers, ensuring that good customer outcomes are always delivered.


Location:
Head Office, Tipton, this is an office-based role.


Hours:
Permanent role working 35 hours per week including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu.


In this role you will:


  • Recognise and record complaints in line with internal processes
  • Undertake the administration of our saving and mortgage accounts including money transmission, payments, redemptions, bank reconciliation and thirdparty engagement
  • Provide administrative support to all areas of the Society
  • Consistently provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and responsibility for your own actions, deadlines, and targets
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of procedures, processes, savings accounts and regulatory requirements
  • Understand risk associated within processes and how this impacts you and our customers
  • Follow the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty
  • Carry out adhoc duties or tasks as required

Essential Skills / Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience of providing a firstclass customer service over the telephone and within an administrative environment
  • Well organised, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, customer service and telephony skills
  • Right firsttime approach, consistently producing accurate work, with experience of taking ownership of customer queries through to resolution
  • Computer skills to enable the use of a variety of different systems and software including Microsoft Office products and the internet
  • 5 GCSE grades 9 to 4 / A to C (or equivalent) including Maths and English
