The Role


Pinnacle Group are looking for a Housing Support Officer (1 year fixed term then reviewed), to deliver high quality housing services on behalf of Housing Cooperatives in the area.


The role will be working with the Area Manager to ensure 1st class service delivery as part of a team who provide a comprehensive housing service to the largest Housing Cooperative in the Country (378 Properties).


Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • Tenancy Management.
  • Responding to tenants' enquiries.
  • Reporting repairs to properties & Estates.
  • Liaising with repair contractors to ensure works are completed within performance indicators and to a high standard.
  • Effectively dealing with low level antisocial behavior.
  • To manage void and lettings processes in line with contractual obligations and as per client requirements.
  • Ensure customers receive high quality service, by maximising tenant involvement.
  • Be responsible for delivering projects assigned by the Area Manager.
  • Supporting the production of monthly performance and update reports by effectively liaising with internal and external colleagues.

  • The Housing Support Officer will be the central point of contact for Sensible Housing Cooperative in delivering an efficient and professional housing management service to tenants, and external stakeholders.
  • Collector and distributor of information (Data management)
  • The Housing coordinator will hold responsibility within the housing team, for the coordination of the collection, reporting and distribution of data and information both internally and to external bodies.
  • Supporting and assisting the wider housing team in delivering services to the housing cooperative based in Leicester.

Skills Required:


  • Possess CIH/ARLA qualification or similar, or willing to undertake such qualifications.
  • Demonstrates commitment to and passion for providing enhanced services to service families
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Confidence in forming effective working relationships with a diverse range of people, including working inclusively and as part of a team
  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills including the ability to adapt oral and written communication methods and styles to suit the audience
  • Excellent organisational skills, with good attention to detail
  • Proactive and focussed to undertake a wide range of tasks and duties to support the team
  • Competent using a wide range of operational software and Microsoft Office packages particularly in the areas of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
