We have a nursery close to Holland Park that is seeking a Level 3 Childcare qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their modern nursery.

Just seconds away from tube with quick and easy access to the District and Piccadilly lines, they are close to the main bus route and a stones throw from the shops.

Situated in a modern development, this nursery provides inspirational learning experiences, both indoors and outdoors and their long-standing team of Early Years' practitioners provide a welcoming and stable environment where they help each child to achieve their full potential.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will support the design and delivery room activities in line with EYFS principles.

You would be part of a highly trained team, who encourage the children to get involved in imaginative play and real-world play to help them grow and develop.

There is a wealth of resources to draw on, introducing the children to the digital world, as well as baking with the in-house chef, and exploring in the purpose built garden.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide stimulating experiences for the children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development, and create a nurturing environment
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and carers with thorough handovers on daily collection and encourage their participation in the nursery
  • Understand and implement the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
  • Regularly review and follow children's care plans for any medical needs or dietary requirements
  • Embrace a culture of continual improvement with ongoing learning and upskilling

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Have experience of working within a nursery setting and have knowledge of the framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required
