We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join our Accounts Department located in Braunston near Daventry/Rugby.


As part of this small team it is essential that you have a flexible and adaptable approach to this role and a can do approach is a must.


Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years Sage/Quickbooks or equivalent Accounts package
  • Organised and able to work under minimum supervision
  • Reliable, trustworthy, flexible and team player
  • Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to produce accurate high quality work to deadlines
Responsibility and Accountability

  • The jobholder is required to take responsibility and be accountable for ensuring all aspects of their role are fulfilled accurately and timely
  • Recognise and escalate potential blockages that may affect the job role being fulfilled effectively

Duties may include:

  • Purchase ledger (invoice entry)
  • Sales ledger (producing delivery notes, sales invoices, updating ledgers)
  • Processing service engineer job sheets including invoicing to customers
  • Processing of customer payments
  • Processing of employee expenses and receipts
  • Producing employee personal mileage reports
  • Monthly reconciliation of all courier and postage costs
  • Distribution of customer monthly statements including chasing any outstanding payments
  • Managing relationships with consumables suppliers including keeping their bespoke portals updated
  • General filing, administration duties along with telephone support when required.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
£20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
