We are pleased to be recruiting for an Export Controller to work in our busy Logistics office in Kepak Merthyr Tydfil.


This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm - flexibility required and some evenings, with an annual salary of £25,000 depending on experience.


Working as part of the shipping office administration team in the factory, undertaking all duties as directed by the Shipping office manager.

The role involves you being an integral part of the team. The role requires you to take responsibility for your work, ensuring accurate of recording and sharing information. Collation and control of all Export documentation required.

Liaison with relevant internal customers to effect Export Liaison with 3rd Party Transportation for European Export Order Creation and collation for specific customers.

Support on site stock control. Order controls to & from external cold store.

Logistics Office Manager


Key Responsibilities:


  • Being able to work in a stressful environment at times
  • Completing export paperwork
  • Export Document control.
  • Booking in and confirming incoming deliveries
  • De-Hiring Crates
  • Recording all outgoing despatches
  • Recording frozen team control document
  • Inputting and sharing KPI's
  • Setting up orders to customers on internal system
  • Sharing reports returns reports
  • Sharing daily reports with Intakes team
  • Monitoring all customer returns liaising with finance, transport, and Intakes team
  • Setting up daily transfers to external cold store
  • Monitoring Eggs shell movements and communicating with external supplier and internal parties
  • Liaise with Frozen team to capture weekly Coldstore transport requirement
  • Carrying out customer ordering when required

Requirements:


Skills / Experience:

Good organisational and time-management skills - being able to work to tight deadlines

Great interpersonal and communication skills


Being able to use Microsoft Office packages - Word / Excel
Working as part of a team and building relationships internally and externally

Attention to detail

Flexible work pattern is essential and being able to think on feet

Be able to take onboard and act upon feedback

Positive and Proactive approach to tasks

Problem solver

Working unsupervised

Working knowledge of the system is desirable

Export experience desired but not necessity
