New hybrid Finance role in Guildford

About Our Client:

A new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to work for a successful business based in Guildford. You will report directly into the Finance Director.

  • All aspects from entry of invoices to payment, plus PL enquiries
  • Chase outstanding invoices
  • Produce aged debt reports
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure all outstanding queries/tasks are actioned
  • Perform daily bank reconciliation
  • Prepare month end journals
  • Produce monthly management reports and quarterly reports
  • Prepare Quarterly Forecasts
  • Monthly payroll update preparation for bureau
  • Calculate all relevant and applicable commissions and/or bonuses
  • Payroll journals

The Successful Applicant:


  • Ideally completed an accountancy qualification (AAT)
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
