As an IEP Administrator at our Oxford Hospital, you're able to manage, distribute and interpret the data and images. What's more, you know how to present this in a timely and professional manner whilst understanding the processes involved. Have genuine experience using IEP to an intermediate level within a healthcare setting.As an IEP Radiology Administrator, you will:
Work within our IEP Team and support the Radiology Administration team as of when needed and be the point of contact for our service users in relation to images and transferring.
You will be the point of contact when needed for anything IEP related, providing other members of your team are busy.
Handle Radiology enquiries and general queries from patients, healthcare professionals and support staff.Requesting external images for:
OPD appointments / consultations
Theatres procedures / surgeries
Second opinions
Comparison
Transferring out images to other hospitals - this includes retrieving images from the archive and attaching the reports.
Transferring images to patients and solicitors / legal.
The Person
To succeed as an IEP Radiology Administrator, you will have:
Have great people skills with the ability to treat patients and secretaries alike with compassion and empathy.
Ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner.
Be educated to GCSE in English and Maths.
Have good IT and keyboard skills.
Be vastly experienced within IEP and proactive understanding the database and distributing the workflow as appropriate (Essential)
Have proven IEP and PACS experience (Essential)
Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage (ideally within a healthcare environment).
Have knowledge of medical terminology (Essential)
NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent (Desirable)
