About the Position:

Student Services Advisor to join our Ask4Help and Student Progress team in London (E1 7HT). Initially on a Fixed-Term
- Contract until November 30th 2023.The main aspect of this exciting role is to work alongside a small team acting as the first point of contact for all Northumbria London students, handling a full range of student enquiries received (face to face and virtual) and referring to more specialist teams where appropriate.
And all of that will contribute to an outstanding student experience- Supporting the Ask4Help Coordinator in ensuring the delivery of an excellent forward facing and virtual customer service for Ask4Help.
- Providing a welcoming, efficient, helpful and informative service to all customers.
- Being responsible for ensuring that all enquiries are answered in a timely manner, that referrals are correctly made, and students are receiving consistent information.
- Using the Student portal and FAQs developed within the Ask4Help teams to answer and refer student queries.
About You:
This role would be a great fit if you've been through the student-journey yourself, are a great and patient communicator, and are confident in responding to potentially complex queries.
We'd love you to be able to tick the following boxes, too:- Someone who takes ownership
- Proactive
- Not shying away from potentially difficult queries
- Great admin skills
- Can deal with different types of students both in person or through phonecalls CRM
You'll basically be a triage for student queries; working out which relevant department you'd need to signpost them if you can't resolve the issue yourself.
With a great CRM with all the FAQs to a supportive environment with great mentors for managers, you'll be given all the tools you'll need to succeed in this pivotal role.
