Senior PMO Analyst
Are you a PMO with Financial Analysis experience looking for your next challenge?

Would you like to join an established Financial Services company in the UK?

Can you manage project spending processes, reporting and monitoring to deliver IT and digital change required within an agreed budget?


The Role

  • Manage the purchasing processes across the projects/portfolios, including raising purchase orders in line with agreed project spend, raising accruals and payment of invoices.
  • Maintain the project cost tracker template and process, providing support to the project managers as required
  • Support the Financial Controller, with the successful embedment of other financial processes, providing support/guidance to the project teams as needed.
  • Production of key data including resource forecasts vs actuals and timesheet consolidation analysis
  • Management of project spend vs overall budget, including payroll/resource costs, capex and opex escalating any concerns to the Head of CMO
  • Support the roadmap review and shaping processes, to gain a greater understanding of pipeline budgets
  • Work alongside the CMO/portfolio manager to support change control and stagegating processes to understand impact on financials

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a PMO environment, with the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of project financials
  • Previous experience setting up and embedding processes
  • Advanced MS Excel experience necessary. Prior experience using Power Query and VBA preferential.
  • And the following skills, abilities and behaviours
  • Sound financial awareness e.g. budgeting, purchasing, capitalisation rules
  • Excellent level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to build effective relations with Project Managers, CMO and Finance teams

Salary & Benefits
- £55,000k p.a + bonus + benefits

Location - Cumbria - Hybrid working 1 day a week
