Description

Commercial Executive
As our Commercial Executive, you will work with internal departments, support our finance team and other team members. Quickbooks experience would be an advantage but not necessary so long as you have experience in accounting.


Hybrid:
Home and Boardwave Hubs (London and Hampshire)


Hours:3 days a week (fixed) - 21 hours


Duties:


Accounts payable:


  • Entering supplier invoices and receipts
  • Processing expense claims
  • Setting up supplier accounts
  • Running reports eg Employee expenses, unpaid bills
  • Year end confirmation of balance requests

Bank and credit cards

  • Chasing up paperwork for payments made
  • Downloading credit card statements and issuing to cardholders
  • Downloading bank statements
  • Reconciliations

Sales Invoicing

  • Raising sales invoices
  • Year end confirmation of balance requests

Fixed Asset Register

  • Setting up new assets
  • Asset disposals
  • Annual confirmation of assets

Chart of Accounts

  • Setting up new account codes

Budgets

  • Entering budgets to Quickbooks
  • Running and issuing spend v budget reports

Expenses

  • Input expense claims for C-Suite (excluding CEO)

Company HR portal

  • Managing and inputting HR and other policies on our company HR portal
  • Updating employee details, onboarding and offboarding
  • Must be numerate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in data entry and CRM software.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Ability to manage and deliver crossfunctional projects to tight deadlines.
  • Confidence to challenge and improve existing processes.
  • Commercially aware and able to develop and implement product initiatives to meet member needs.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with working at a detailed level.
  • High levels of drive and enthusiasm a selfstarter.
  • Ability to represent the Boardwave Brand with third parties, either by phone, Zoom, or face to face.
