Job overview
Reporting to the Finance Director, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Assistant to join our team.

As Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and wants to grow their career in the field.

Key responsibilities:

Recording daily financial transactions using Netsuite accounting software.
Accounts payable processing invoices, reconciling statements and ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
Sales reconciliation investigating variances between accounting software and production software.
Daily bank reconciliations.
Processing employee expenses in line with company policies.
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
Supporting the finance team in preparing and monitoring budgets.
Supporting the finance team with financial analysis to aid decisionmaking.
Assisting with audits.

To be successful in this role:

Previous experience as a finance assistant would be an advantage.
Numerate with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Working knowledge of accounting software would be an advantage.
Strong IT skills, in particular Excel and Powerpoint.
Well organised and selfdisciplined, with the ability to multitask and to assist other members of the finance team
The ability to communicate on all levels and establish good working relationships both internally and externally
