IMMEDIATE START - PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Job Type:
Full-time -
PERMANENT 40 HOUR CONTRACT
(following completion of probation period).


Working hours: 40hrs per week

• Monday to Friday

7.30am - 4.30pm

(includes 2 x 30 min breaks) + Possible Overtime (at time and a half).


Salary:

Starting salary £11.44 per hour, increasing to £11.45 per hour after successful completion of probation period, then £12.45 per hour once multi skilled (after training).

ROLE

Your role would be to assist in the production of manufacturing bespoke Concrete Wine Cellars at our factory in Cannock.

• Mixing Concrete and pouring into moulds.
• Assembling and de assembling moulds.
• Making good any defects
• Packing cellar modules onto pallets

EXPERIENCE
-
Essential:_

• Team player with cando attitude
• Health and Safety awareness (training will be given).
• Previous experience working in manufacturing or construction environment
• Have the physically capability as this is a strenuous role.
• Available to work overtime when necessary

Desirable_ _:_

• Previous work with concrete
• Previous work repairing timber moulds
• Experience of troweling/concrete finishing
• Forklift Licence/Drivers Licence
• Awareness of Quality Control procedures
• Health and Safety experience/qualifications.

Uniform:
Staff Uniform following completion of probation period - PPE provided on first day.

Training/Development:

All employees will be given Health and Safety online/in-house training/certificates plus opportunities to further their skills with outside courses, i.e.

Forklift Driver,
First Aid etc.
