We are pleased to offer this opportunity to join the Adult Community Mental Health Team covering Newmarket and surrounding area.

We provide assessment and treatment for those experiencing an acute mental health need in the community. We work with service users with a variety of mental health concerns.


We work closely with families and carers to provide a holistic approach and work in a creative and flexible way to provide a positive outcome for our service users.


Within the last 18 months the Adult CMHT has introduced new processes to develop the service and improve the care that we deliver to the community.

We are friendly and supportive team to work for and have a passion for internal development within the service.


As an Assistant Practitioner within the Adult CMHT you will be working in a supportive team to deliver excellent care.


You will be responsible for the planning, review and delivery of care and treatment in conjunction with the service users on your caseload.


You will support senior staff to provide duty cover for the team on a rostered basis and will support individuals in need and will liaise with other agencies to ensure care needs are met.

You will require excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment.

Please note that applicants for this role require:
A Care certificate or completed within first 12 weeks of start date, or relevant equivalent qualification.


AND


Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care / Mental Health at Level 5 or Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care / Mental Health Level 5.
